The big, bold, “irregular geometric” and quirky shapes of the characters called for a name that reflected exactly that. Sasso is Italian for stone, or pebble (pl. sassi).
Sasso is intended for big and bold statements, from light to extra bold, but it works surprisingly well in texts set in small sizes too.
Try Sasso together with a sans-serif font such as Burdigala X Sans or a semi-serif for more contrast.
