Burdigala C is a transformed version of Burdigala X.
Stylistically speaking “C” is more of a classic kind of font where the width of some characters, notably the C, G and O, and the E and the F, follow the classic “Trajan” traditions. The exception here is the “S”, which has a modern width.
Burdigala C is a classy and elegant font serif font, well suited for texts in all sizes and weights. Try it in headings for titling, in combination with a basic sans-serif, such as its sibling, Burdigala X Sans.
Burdigala C comes with an alternative letter “g” and “&”. To switch, simply type a period (full stop) right before and after the letter "g" or the ampersand (.g. et .&.)
Burdigala is the ancient Roman name of the city of Bordeaux.
