What is a good visual identity?
A visual identity is important for companies, products and brands. But it is not just about being special or adapting the profile to a given target group.
Behind a good visual identity there is often a clear intention that in turn becomes a driving factor in how you profile yourself and how you are perceived, seen from the outside.
Font, shape and color
A visual identity is built with graphic shapes and colors. By shape we mean all graphic elements, and primarily typography and fonts.
Based on the design of the letters, it is easier to see the whole and in that way adapt other elements during the process. A cool and simple sans serif font sets clear guidelines in itself. So do a classic serif font and futuristic “tech” fonts.
A well-composed whole creates a good visual profile – regardless of style.

All prices are in Euros excluding VAT
50% of the total amount will be invoiced when the first font design has been approved the client. The rest upon completion, and not later than 30 days after the approval of the design. All prices will be invoiced in Euros (excluding VAT for companies outside of France).
COPYRIGHT FONTS
Upon completion, the full ownership of a font including relevant copyright info embedded in the font-file(s) will be transferred to the client.
Please note that we reserve the right to withhold a part of a font set and/or the transferring of copyrights, until any and all payment(s) is settled in full.
Any issue related to a font, logo, website etc must be reported within 30 days after the completion date, i.e. the date of issue of the final invoice.
Changes to the actual design is not included. For additional work, please contact us for fixed or ad-hoc hourly rates.
REGARDING FONTS
Minor issues such as tweaking the space between individual characters (kerning) may be needed, and this is normal in the beginning. Kerning and spacing issuses will be accumulated, and then ajusted, within a 30-day period after completion.
The customer is responsible for security and back-up of their websites. This is especially recommended for larger solutions and for online shops. Some web hotels offer this in their packages.

OTHER THINGS
Unless otherise expressed by the customer, FONTPLAN may use parts of a design in connection with its own marketing.
